A Picture is Worth a Thousand Words

After our LONG visit, we still missed Amelia's Spring Piano Recital.
She sang and accompanied herself.  How cool is that?!

Guess who attended the Tony Awards in NYC!

Don't they look elegant?

On June 18, I returned to Atlanta by myself to stay with Amelia
and take her to Fine Arts Camp while Amy participated in some training in Athens, GA.

Chocolate chip pancakes every morning!
Crafts in the morning include a Harry Potter potion.

Working on a magic wand!

Project complete!  That's a fine-looking wand.
Amelia played the role of a tv news reporter.

Amelia and her friend, Salma, walking to the car after the play.

Waiting for ice cream!
I returned home on Saturday driving all the way in rain and heavy traffic.  When I got home Bubba had Pork Chop Casserole, Turnips and Carrots cooked for our supper.  That was a great welcome home for sure.

On June 28, we took the travel trailer and went to St. George Island for four nights.  It was hot.  The mosquitoes were bad.  The weather was gloomy, but we did a lot of reading and watched some movies in the evening.  We had several good meals out.
Watching the waves roll in

Not the usual view - Too much rain, I guess.
