We were eating lunch with Bubba's sister, Azalea, one Monday when he got a call from his friend, Charles, that the fish were biting. We had already planned to go fishing the next day and were even more excited to get a good report. We caught 24 fish which was a gracious plenty for a fish fry the next night.
We're amazed at the size of this tree. Bubba says it looked this big when he was a little boy.
Memorial Day was spent picking tomatoes which is one of my favorite summertime activities. This was the earliest we had ever been able to pick and the flavor was better than ever.
The rest of the week was spent catching up around the house. We're getting ready for an visit from Amelia. She is going to spend a week with us and we are going to St. George Island State Park for some beach time and camping. Amy will be joining her at the end of the week for a visit and we are looking forward to good times with both of them.
